How to export your LocalBitcoins transaction history
Automatic import
You can import transactions from LocalBitcoins into Divly by using our API integration. After you have provided the API keys, Divly will be able to fetch your latest transactions anytime you click "Import Transactions" in the wallet page.
Important:
The LocalBitcoins API does not allow us to fetch deposits and withdrawals beyond 30 days. Please add these manually in Divly by either adding them individually on the transactions page, or by uploading them via the File Import.
Step by step guide
-
Sign in to LocalBitcoins.
-
On the top right click on the account icon and click Settings in the drop down.
-
In the Settings menu click on Advanced.
-
Click the button Manage Apps next to Third-Party Applications.
-
Under HMAC authentications click + New HMAC authentication. When creating the key use the following settings: Name: Divly, Permissions: read.
-
Provide your two-factor authentication code and click Create.
-
Copy the API Key and API Secret into Divly.
File import
You can import transactions into Divly by downloading and importing a CSV file. Make sure to download the CSV file every time you want to include the latest transactions.
Important
We use the username found in the file name to understand whether a trade was a BUY or a SELL. Please ensure you do not change the file name when uploading to Divly. If you still have issues uploading transactions please contact Divly's support or try using the Automated Import.
Step by step guide:
-
Sign in to LocalBitcoins.
-
Exporting Trades: In the top right corner click the account icon and select Trading Dashboard in the dropdown. Click on the Trade history tab. Scroll down and click Download finished trades to download the contacts_finished_yourusername.csv file. DO NOT CHANGE THE NAME OF THE FILE BEFORE UPLOADING TO DIVLY.
-
Exporting Deposits/Withdrawals: In the top right corner click the account icon and select Settings in the dropdown. Click on the Security tab. Next to Personal Data click the button View. Click the button Collect personal data and Download personal data. Only upload the transaction_history.csv file to Divly.
-
Drag and drop the CSV files to where it says Upload CSV. Divly will import the transactions.
Common issues
-
Deposits and withdrawals are only available via the File Import or by adding them manually. Only upload the transaction_history.csv file when importing deposits and withdrawals.
-
When uploading your trades file, please make sure you have not changed the name of the file. This will stop Divly from understanding which side of the trades you have taken.
